This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.
They support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development. Depending on the setting, educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously.
The course is industry and nationally recognized and is delivered by International College of Victoria (22581).
Participants may find employment in childhood educator roles, and childhood care roles that require an early childhood education & care qualification.

Prospective students are required to complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) assessment and a Pre- Training Interview, administered by and to the satisfaction of International College of Victoria.
Students are required to undertake 120 hours of supervised practical placement with an approved facility. Students are required to find their own practical placement, however, ICV will provide assistance and support where needed.
Students MUST obtain a Working with Children Check before commencing work placement.
Estimated duration of 52 weeks allowing sufficient time to develop the necessary skills and knowledge in each unit.
